Personal Data Processing Policy

1. General Provisions

This Personal Data Processing Policy was developed as per Federal Law No.152-FZ "On Personal Data" dated July 27, 2006 and outlines the procedure for processing personal data and measures Sukhoy Log Refractories JSC (hereinafter referred to as the Operator) shall take to ensure security of personal data they process.

The Operator considers observing the human rights and freedoms while processing personal data, including protecting personal and family privacy rights, its highest priority and the critical factor determining their operation.

This Personal Data Processing Policy the Operator adopted (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) concerns and applies to all information that the Operator may receive about visitors of the website http://slsoz.ru.

2. Terms and Definitions

Automated processing of personal data shall mean personal data processing with the use of computer technology;

Blocking of personal data shall mean temporary termination of personal data processing, except for the cases when processing is required to update or refine personal data;

The Website shall mean a combination of graphic and information materials, and computer programs and databases that ensuring availability of the aforementioned materials on the Internet at the virtual address http://slsoz.ru;

The Personal Data System shall mean a combination of personal data contained in databases and information technologies and hardware that enable processing thereof;

Anonymization of personal data shall mean actions that render determining affiliation of personal data with a specific User or another subject of personal data impossible without follow-up details;

Personal Data Processing shall mean any operation or set of operations on personal data—performed with or without the use of automation—which include collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, rectification (updating, modification), extraction, use, transfer (distribution, disclosure, granting access), anonymization, blocking, deletion, destruction of personal data;

The Operator shall mean a governmental authority, a municipal authority, a legal entity or an individual, which arranges for and/or performs processing of personal data (independently or jointly with other parties), and determines purposes of personal data processing, scope of personal data subject to processing, and operations on personal data;

Personal data shall mean any information related, expressly or by implication, to a identified or a identifiable User of the website http://slsoz.ru;

The User shall mean any visitor to the website http://slsoz.ru;

Disclosure of Personal Data shall mean operations aimed at disclosing (providing) personal data to a specific person or a group of people;

Distribution of Personal Data shall mean any operations aimed at disclosing personal data to an indefinite group of people (transfer of personal data) or making an unlimited group of people aware of personal data, including disclosure of personal data on the media, publishing thereof in communication networks, or granting access thereto otherwise;

Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Data shall mean transfer of personal data to the territory of a foreign country or jurisdiction, to a foreign governmental authority, to a foreign individual or legal entity;

Destruction of Personal Data shall mean any operations resulting in irrevocable destruction of personal data with no possibility for further restoration of personal data content in the personal data system, and (or) destruction of personal data physical media.


3. The Operator may process the following User's personal data

Full name;

Email;

Phone numbers.


The Website also collects and processes anonymized visitor data (including cookies) with the help of web analytics services (Yandex.Metrika, Google Analytics etc.).

In this Policy, the aforementioned data are collectively referred to as Personal Data.


4. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

The purpose of processing the User’s personal data is to inform the User by sending emails.

The Operator is also entitled to send the User notifications on new products and services, special offers, and various events. The User can always opt out of receiving informational messages by sending the Operator an email to refractory@slsoz.ru with the subject line "Opt-out of notifications about new products and services and special offers".

5. Legal Basis for Personal Data Processing

The Operator processes the User's personal data only if the User has provided and/or sent such data through the dedicated forms on the website http://slsoz.ru. By filling the respective forms and/or sending personal data to the Operator, the User agrees to this Policy.

6. Collection, Storage, Transfer, and Other Types of Personal Data Processing

Security of personal data the Operator processes is ensured by the implementation of legal, organizational, and technical measures essential to provide full compliance with the applicable personal data protection legislation. The Operator ensures personal data integrity and takes all the relevant measures to prevent any unauthorized access to personal data. The User's personal data may not, under any circumstances, be transferred to any third parties, unless otherwise prescribed by law.

If the User finds any personal data outdated or inaccurate, they may update them independently by sending the Operator a notification to the Operator's email address refractory@slsoz.ru with the subject line "Updating personal data".

The period during which the User may update personal data is unlimited.

The User may at any time revoke their consent to the processing of personal data by sending the Operator a notification via e-mail to the Operator's email address refractory@slsoz.ru with the subject line "Revocation of consent to the processing of personal data".

7. Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Data

Before initiating cross-border transfer of personal data, the Operator shall make sure that the foreign country or jurisdiction, whereto the Operator is going to transfer personal data, provides reliable observation of personal data subjects' rights. Cross-border transfer of personal data to the foreign countries or jurisdictions that do not comply with the above requirements can be carried out only upon written consent of the personal data subject to cross-border transfer of their personal data and/or under an agreement or contract which such a personal data subject is a party to.

8. Final Provisions

The User can get help on any issues regarding processing of their personal data by contacting the Operator at refractory@slsoz.ru. This document shall contain any changes the Operator makes to the Personal Data Processing Policy. The Policy shall remain in force for an unlimited term, unless replaced with an updated version.
